Park Sports Project, based in Glasgow, were delighted to receive a Growing the Game award for their Under-11 and Under-9 girls section. Alan Sharp from the club commented that “the funding received from The SFP Trust in partnership with The Clydesdale Bank has allowed us to purchase training equipment such as balls, bibs and markers which in turn gave us the opportunity to really drive on with creating a strong and vibrant girls section. The equipment has been pivotal in the delivery of additional training for our girls to give them the confidence to represent Park Sports Project at local festivals. We are now very proud to say we have both an U11’s and U9’s team applying their skills learned at training on a match day!!” The photographs show the girls from both teams and we wish them every success and lots of fun whilst playing in their local football festivals!
